MATHERAN :

 MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS OF LIFE

Matheran is one of the most beautiful place in Maharashtra State. It is hardly 100 km away from Mumbai. You may go here by railway or road. Matheran is 800 meter above mean sea level. No vehicle is allowed in Matheran. Manual rickshaws and around 600 horses  are for transportation.

I and my wife Rohini visited Matheran in August 2012. We enjoyed horse riding first time. In Matheran everywhere you see red coloured  dust, gravels and rubbles on hilly area. About 38 view points to see. Panorama, Lord, Echo, Heart points are some of them. Every points  have different scene with full of natural water falls, clouds arising from earth to sky across velley area. Everywhere are greenery, fog and rain are attraction of Matheran.

For staying around 40 hotels in Matheran. We stayed in Horseland Hotel. Hospitality, swimming,rooms, meals are very good. Evening in hotel is most joy full with karaok , DJ, fun games etc.
